Nature and Wildlife Photography

Welcome
I have been working full time for the NHS for the past 24 years, and as in all careers (and life in general), there have always been ups and downs. One thing that has been a constant way to unwind, recharge and de-stress over the years has been getting out there with my camera. As a family, we have always enjoyed watching and photographing nature and wildlife and are blessed to live in the small town of Haslemere nestling in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with lots of fantastic wildlife right on our doorstep.
I don't enjoy spending hours in front of a computer editing photos as I much prefer to spend the time outdoors getting the images right on camera in the first place. Therefore, the images on this website have received very little editing. In my view, our creator is a true grandmaster so all I do is try to capture his hand-made works of genius.

Before I joined the NHS, I trained and worked as a countryside ranger and regularly led guided walks and delivered slide talks to a wide variety of groups. I still really enjoy sharing my passion for nature and wildlife with others and am always happy to provide face to face or virtual talks.
